- A: Buttweld fittings are welded directly to pipe ends by bevelling both fitting and pipe and welding them together. They are the standard for high-pressure, high-temperature piping systems due to their strength and reliability.
- Q: What is the difference between LR and SR elbows?
- A: Long Radius (LR) elbows have a radius of 1.5D (1.5 × pipe diameter), reducing pressure drop and turbulence. Short Radius (SR) elbows have a 1D radius for compact piping where space is limited.
- Q: Do you supply fittings with MTC?
- A: Yes. All buttweld fittings come with EN 10204 3.1 MTC. Third-party inspection by SGS, TUV or BV available on request.
